Wine Tasting--California's Roots Pinot Grigio
For one of the wine tastings this week, I wanted to try something that I have never tried before! I tried California's Roots Pinot Grigio and it was....different! It's a Pinot Grigio variety wine from 2016 and comes from....you guessed it, California! It is one of the cheaper wines that I have tried, however, for $5 a bottle, it was decent!
WineMag gave the wine 86 points and said it was a good pinot grigio for the price! I didn't know what to expect, however, it slowly grew on me! The wine was heavy, but it had a sweet taste to it as well. To me, the wine had hints of apple but lacked acidity.
